Overview of the AutoCAD version history

AutoCAD 1.0 (December 1982): The first version of AutoCAD was released by Autodesk.

AutoCAD 2.0 (October 1984): Introduced improvements and features like dimensioning in model and paper spaces.

AutoCAD 9 (September 1986): Jumped to version 9 due to alignment with the version number of its main competitor at the time.

    In 1993 i work as support and installing AutoCAD (in small dealer company).
    AutoCAD 12 in 1994 has updated to support Windows 3.11 version and we try UNIX AutoCAD 12 release (Worked on Silicon Graphics – Iris 5 Unix system).
    This only for history information );
