🧱 Plaster Quantity Calculator
Are you planning a construction project in Nepal or anywhere else and need to calculate plaster materials quickly and accurately? Our Plaster Quantity Calculator helps you determine the exact quantity of cement and sand required for wall plastering using standard ratios like 1:4, 1:5, or 1:6.
This tool is perfect for civil engineers, contractors, site supervisors, and homeowners looking for precise plaster material estimation in meters or feet, saving both time and money.
🔧 What is a Plaster Quantity Calculator?
A Plaster Quantity Calculator is an online tool used to estimate the volume of cement and sand required for applying plaster to walls, ceilings, or surfaces. It helps you plan your material needs based on:
Length and height of the wall
Plaster thickness (usually in mm)
Cement-to-sand mixing ratio
Unit of measurement (meters or feet)
📏 How to Use the Plaster Quantity Calculator?
Follow these simple steps:
- Enter the length and height of the wall to be plastered.
- Enter the plaster thickness, usually 12 mm or as required.
- Choose your preferred unit (meters or feet).
- Select the cement: sand ratio (commonly 1:4, 1:5, or 1:6).
- Click Calculate to get results.
📋 Example Output
Our tool calculates:
- Total plastering area
- Quantity of cement required (in bags)
- Quantity of sand required (in cubic meters and cubic feet)

🧠 Formula Used in Plaster Estimation
We calculate the wet volume of plaster first:
Plaster Volume = Length × Height × Thickness
Then add 33% to get the dry volume:
Dry Volume = Wet Volume × 1.33
Then we divide based on the selected cement: sand ratio to get the respective quantities.
